How it began
Home should feel like a warm exhale
Flax & Ember began with a simple feeling: that home should feel like a warm exhale. The softness of a freshly made bed, the glow of a candle at dusk, a favorite mug filled and steaming, a sweater you never quite want to take off. We noticed how scattered cozy living had become — bedding from one shop, candles from another, tea from somewhere else entirely. So we gathered it all in one place.
Curated, not fast
We're curators, not a warehouse. Every piece — from cooling bamboo bedding to hand-poured candles, sculptural lamps to single-origin teas — earns its place by doing one thing: making everyday life feel a little warmer. We lean toward calm, earthy tones, natural textures, and things made to be lived with, not rushed through.
